Product Description: This is a synthetic form of black iron oxide that runs <1 micron in size compared to the natural black iron oxide, which is 30-45 microns in size. Synthetic Black is ideal for pigments and other uses needing a small particle size. Also, it is a truer black since it has fewer impurities (clay, silica, etc.).
Packaging Info: Shipped in resealable foil bags. All items 50 lb and above may be shipped in 50 lb manufacturer's bags - depending on quantity.
Usage: Iron oxide has a wide variety of uses, including pigments, ceramics, thermite welding, and other usages.
