This is a synthetic form of black iron oxide that runs about 1 micron in size compared the other black iron oxide that we sell that runs about 30 micron(500 mesh) in size.  It is ideal for pigments and other uses where a very small particle size is desired.  Also it is a truer black.   It also has less contaminants and is very low in silica and heavy metals.  More analysis will be added soon.

Iron oxide has many uses including pigments, ceramics, welding (thermite), along with a wide range of other uses. As with all chemicals, iron oxide should be handled with care.
